The King of Pop

At the early age of 11, Michael Joseph Jackson together with his siblings, start performing under the name Jackson 5. They made their first TV appearance at the Miss Black American Pageant in New York.By the age of 20, the world know him for hit singles like Thriller, Beat It, Billie Jean and etc which dominated the world.

His music video, Thriller, was the 1st artistic music video which revolutionised the music video industry. I grew up with his songs during my early childhood. In fact, I do believe that his has affected most of our lives with his songs and energetic vibes. All those moonwalk and liquid dance.

On June 25, 2009, Jackson collapsed at a rented home an later pronounced as dead two about two hours later (2.26pm local time) of cardiac arrest. Many speculations have occurred regarding the cause of his death. His attorney, Brian Oxman did not speculate anything but he did observe the misuse of prescribed medicine by the people who were enabling him(MJ).

Others have said that the preparations for his 'comeback tour' has caused too much stress for him and this might have lead to his death. MJ was suppose to perform at various places in 50 concerts which is a part of his comeback plan. He was going to release a new single during this tour.

MJ's death has affected most of us. Yet, his music still empower us. For he is the King of Pop and I have not seen anyone who has come close to steal his title. May you rest in peace, Michael Jackson.
